Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL

Q: Do I need equipment?
A: No! We can incorporate any equipment you may have laying around the house, but you can get amazing, pulse-pounding, fat-shredding workouts without any equipment whatsoever.

Q: How long is each session?
A: 45 minutes. Your trainer will vary the intensity of the workout based on your fitness level.

Q: Should I cancel my gym membership if I’m starting WEBercise?
A: It’s your call, but it’s not really necessary. Having a gym membership simply gives you access to equipment. We don’t give you access, we give you results. Plus, if you keep your gym membership active, your trainer can give you homework that you can do in between sessions at the gym.

Q: What if I’m not in “good enough” shape to WEBercise?
A: Great question. This is a common misconception when it comes to working with a personal trainer. Your trainer’s biggest job is personalizing a workout program to your current fitness level, while plotting a course to your desired goals. Therefore, it’s impossible to not be in good enough shape!

Q: But I should still probably get in better shape before starting, right?
A: Don’t be silly! That’s like saying, “should I take a road test before learning how to drive?” Just like the last question, trust us to take out all of the guesswork and educate you at the same time, short-cutting months and years of frustration and guilt-riddled weigh-ins.

Q: But I only like cardio…do I really need WEBercise?
A: Umm, yes! WEBercise is like taking a private jet to your fitness destination, while cardio is like taking a hot air balloon. After a cardio workout is over, your body only burns extra calories for about 30 minutes. After a WEBercise training session, your body’s metabolism speeds up, meaning it can burn extra calories for up to 24 hours because of something called EPOC (Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption). Also, increasing your lean muscle mass through WEBercise training can increase your metabolic rate every day, while doing cardio can actually result in a lower metabolic rate due to your body losing lean muscle mass.

SELECTING YOUR TRAINER

Q: How is my trainer selected?
A: We pair you up with the trainer that best matches your availability or specialized goal.

Q: Can I switch trainers?
A: Absolutely. We strive to make the best matches possible, and continuing with one trainer’s program and style usually leads to the best results. But if you ever want to switch, just send us a message and we’ll respond with your options.

BILLING

Q: How will I be billed?
A: You will be billed monthly depending on which program you choose.

Q: How long do I have to use my sessions?
A: You have one calendar month from the date you’re billed to use your sessions. For instance, if you were billed for sessions on January 10th, you would have to use all of your sessions prior to February 10th.

Q: Why?
A: In a word, “results.” In our experience, the only fitness program that works is one that is executed consistently. The biggest difference between people who accomplish their fitness goals and those who struggle is getting in your workout on days you reaaaaaally don’t feel like it. We all have those days. True change comes from pushing through mental and emotional fatigue. A workout done with 80% intensity is far better than the one that doesn’t happen at all!

Q: How can I change the card on file?
A: You can modify your account via any of the automated billing emails you receive. Or you can always contact us.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Q: How do I cancel?
A: You can cancel by accessing your account from your emails you’ve received from us. You’ll always receive an automated reminder about your next billing date 3 days prior to billing. Please give 3 days notice when cancelling a monthly membership to ensure cancellation takes effect prior to billing.

Q: How does the 14-day Money Back Guarantee work?
A: Great question. We’re very passionate about our company, and are extremely confident that you’ll love it. As far as we know, there is no Money Back Guarantee on personal training anywhere else in the industry once you’ve started training sessions. But that’s how confident we are. If, for any reason, you aren’t happy with the experience, message us within 14 days of your purchase and we’ll grant you a full refund. For example, if you purchased your program on May 5th, May 5th would be Day 1, and 11:59PM EST on May 18th would be the end of your 14th and final day to receive a refund.

Q: What are the limitations on the Money Back Guarantee?
A: Refunds can only be made to new customers who have never purchased with us before, on their first billing cycle only. For instance, if you’ve been a client in the past or exercised a 14-day refund in the past, you are not eligible to do so in the future.

Q: What if I schedule a session and something comes up?
A: No problem! We understand that life can be unpredictable. We require the standard 24-hour notice in order to cancel. For instance, if your session is with John at 5:30p on Wednesday, you would need to contact John prior to 5:30p on Tuesday in order to cancel or reschedule. If 24-hour notice isn’t provided, then the client will forfeit the session.
